THE BOY ON THE WOODEN BOX

Leyson is a survivor of the Holocaust on Oskar Schindler's list. Leon Leyson was ten years old when the Nazis invaded Poland and his family was forced to go to the ghetto. That is something important I thought about so far reading the book.

When starting to read the book  I felt happy because he enjoyed school, playing with his friends and being with his family. Then half way reading I was sad because the Nazi has taken over his family and now he’s in the ghetto.

A question I would ask the author would be why a false rumor spreads about the Jews, they say they are doing something called a blood libel. What does this mean?

2 problems leyson faced was that he and his family were taken away to live in the ghetto, and other problem was that he was tortured everyday.
